In the wake of COVID-19, MxD needed to shift its strategy to a virtual-first approach to engage its core audiences and ecosystem.

In partnership with MxD, InVision strategized, designed, and realized a successful virtual tour of its facility. The digital platform explores the digital tools, cybersecurity, and workforce expertise MxD has developed, driving its mission towards a connected, more resilient manufacturing sector forward.

InVision transformed MxD’s in-person factory floor tour into an immersive, 360-degree digital experience. Interactive development solutions brought the space to life, encouraging attendees to navigate the space and engage with experiences most relevant to them. Activation opportunities including; links to partner experiences, immersive product models, and supplemental media content, were embedded throughout to deliver value to its partners. In parallel with the physical center’s ability to foster connection, education and innovation, the virtual tour’s customized menu bar encourages attendees to continue their journey by connecting with a specialist, scheduling a meeting, and navigating the digital tools and workforce developments of MxD.

Our multilayered approach resulted in an agile, cohesive virtual experience. Additionally, the digital platform’s easily augmentable design allows for real-time updates due to the constantly changing, digitally driven environment.

 

 

Result

The virtual tour enhanced MxD’s stakeholder experience by supporting prospects with unique journeys. With its 22,000 sq. ft factory floor attracting over 12,000 visitors in 2019, the modernized solutions enabled MxD to continue its momentum and mission, extending its reach globally for the first time ever.
