Make Transformation.
Reinvent the way you operate.
Over the past decade, Honeywell has heavily invested their time, energy and resources into digital transformation at scale forming a new, dedicated software division called Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE). The goal of HCE is to become the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) system of record for enterprise performance management and transform business operations. In addition to rolling out software solutions at scale, HCE wanted to maintain customer engagement and market momentum during the COVID pandemic; to this end, they set out to create an inaugural two-day digital customer leadership forum.
The forum brought together customers and senior business leaders across industries to focus on how Honeywell Forge, their Enterprise Performance Management solution, can help today’s enterprise reboot its digital transformation efforts, driving business insight and better business outcomes.

Solution
As Honeywell was still in the working stages of the brand story, InVision began building out the “why” for the customer-facing event, which included a virtual event engagement strategy, message development, and helping Honeywell take a broadcast approach to the digital Forum experience. Grounded in the Honeywell brand, we themed the program the Honeywell Connected Forum, which spoke to the brand’s “Connected Enterprise” and the connection of IT and OT data; as well as being the forum to connect customers with pertinent information, SMEs and peers.
We designed a suite of visual expression elements to infuse the HCE and Honeywell Forge brand identity into the program, making the show feel more tech-forward, but still connected to Honeywell’s new “Future is What We Make It.” We deployed a gradient-based system married to dynamic visuals of facilities, footprints and infrastructure. As a virtual experience, we thoughtfully designed studio environments with multiple broadcast sets for all types of presentations, interviews, dialogues and in-person, hybrid and virtual components. We also created storyboards to inform dynamic transitions that helped bridge content captured in a multitude of ways at different times over the two-week filming schedule.
We took a broadcast-style approach for Connected Forum to help maximize on-screen engagement with attendees. All content was pre-recorded, with the general session held in a broadcast studio and breakouts with leading industry speakers recorded virtually. We designed promotional collateral for their social channels, and internal and external-facing communications.
Result
Over 400 customers and senior business leaders joined the virtual program to learn and connect with experts and thought leaders. With over 9 hours of pre-recorded content, multiple speakers and 10+ general sessions and breakouts, Connected Forum successfully led in depth discussions on digital transformation, spearheading Honeywell Forge as the enterprise performance management solution for business operations.
