To meet these evolving demands, Constellation Brands partnered with InVision to innovate their traditional Wine and Spirits Sales and Marketing Meeting into an annual strategic summit (PACE).
As one of the fastest-growing large beverage, wine, and spirits brands in the U.S., Constellation needed its National Sales Meeting to evolve at the pace of its business. In response, InVision transformed its annual meeting into a strategic, omni-channel program focused on the holistic commercial strategy for wine and spirits. The new PACE blueprint brought ample opportunity for Constellation to share its company and channel-wide vision, all the while gathering its executives and peers in-person for meaningful connections.

InVision completely reimagined Constellation’s sales meeting into PACE, The Road Ahead. The acronym PACE (Portfolio and Consumer Excellence), brought attention to the core tone and messaging centered around the needs, wants, and trends of its consumers, while The Road Ahead addressed the organization’s momentum forward. Branded components created a red thread of consistency, while theming and design elements brought a level of legitimacy to the overall look and feel. Using a ‘campaign thinking’ approach, content extended strategic messaging into ongoing communications.
The three-day PACE program began with a welcome dinner in true celebration of its people. The following days brought a variety of thought leadership, brand storytelling, and networking opportunities. The power of InVision’s content and strategic approach was especially prevalent in the mainstage environment. We raised the bar – while also literally bringing it to the stage. Panel discussions, partner activations, and fireside chats replaced traditional presentations, debuting its leadership team and partners in new, refreshing ways.
The scenic setup and LED screen displays transformed the ballroom space. Whether transported to a vineyard setting in Napa Valley, or an upscale restaurant and bar, visuals and branded videos immersed the audience in content, and an established sense of place. The digital capabilities brought a different feel than the traditional widescreen environment, brilliantly conveying event tone and messaging through visual storytelling.
Result
From a traditional sales meeting to its reimagined campaign-based approach, the PACE program brought its community together to learn, connect, and celebrate. The strategic content put Constellation in a position to lead with authenticity, boldness, and purpose not only during its annual summit, but also for future internal communications and meetings. As Constellation continues to grow as a leader in the wine and spirits sector, our partnership ensures that its programs and communications evolve with it.
We continue into our second year of partnership - the impact from PACE 2022 has resulted in a broadened scope of work as we continue to support Constellation strategically across its communications and events.
